Care to the Community
Tender Care provides care to vulnerable adults who require assistance in their daily life, no matter how much or little you require of us. We care for over 18s with mental health and learning difficulties, physical disabilities, Anzheimer’s disease and dementia, elderly individuals and those with sensory impairment.
Palliative Care
We have a small and select Palliative Care team who are experienced in caring for people who are on end of life support. We provide domiciliary care of the highest standard to adults within their own homes, retaining normality for families and the individual during this difficult time.
Our Palliative Care service is aimed at encouraging independence so that the final years, months, and days of life feel as natural and comfortable as they can possibly be.
Respite Care
Entrusting the care of someone you love to others can be difficult, but it is important for both yourself and your loved one that you have the support you need. Tender Care helps families get back on their feet by caring for your loved one during the hours when you are unable. You can rest assured that they are in the safest hands possible as we treat every client with the level of dignity and respect that we would expect for our own relatives.
We provide a sit-in service for afternoon companionship to give you respite, and can step in to take your loved one out of the house for a few hours whilst you rest.
Personal Care
Tender Care provides a personalised care package that is uniquely tailored to the individual we are caring for. This is based on their lifestyle, abilities and care requirements and can include:
- Assistance with waking and getting ready
- Help with bathing, showering and, if needed, shaving
- Grooming and getting dressed
- Assisted eating and support healthy eating
- Medication management and support
- Getting ready for bed
- Skin and pressure care

Everyday Assistance
If you or your loved one is in a position where carrying out daily tasks has become more challenging, our team of exceptional carers can offer support. We believe that all people should have the dignity of remaining in their own home for as long as they are able, regardless of their circumstances, and by offering assistance with everyday tasks, we can make this a reality.
This service includes:
- Meal preparation, shopping, collection of medicines etc.
- Chaperoned visits and outings
- Visits to hospitals, doctors and dentists
- Light domestic duties
- Assistance with reading, writing and correspondence
- Cleaning and ironing (supplement charge)
Dementia Care
When someone you love receives an Alzheimer’s or Dementia diagnosis, you may feel underprepared for the emotional and physical toll of full-time care. Many people require additional support with daily task management, emergency care and even being present during conversation.
